Samantha Humphries

Sam is a registered Clinical Audiologist (RCCP) and Hearing Aid Dispenser (HCPC protected title), with over 20 years’ clinical experience, having qualified in 2003 at De Montfort University in Leicester.

In 2011, she proudly gained a Masters Degree in Rehabilitative Audiology from the University of Bristol. Her specialist modules included tinnitus management, adult rehabilitation and audiology for those with complex needs.

Having worked for 12 years as an NHS Audiologist she set up a brand-new hearing centre in Exeter city centre, where she spent three years as Principal Audiologist and Hearing Centre Manager.

​​In August 2021 she founded Southwest Audiology Services to be able to give her time and expertise to allow informed decision-making, without delays, bias, limited testing or choices, time pressures or long waiting lists, and she provides hearing care at Hands-on Health.

​Sam also offers 'gold standard' microsuction ear wax removal, and tinnitus management.

In her spare time, she likes to walk along our beautiful coastline, play golf (badly!), read, attempt to conquer cryptic crossword puzzles, listen to live music and go to the theatre.
