Hands-on Health is hosting a Yoga in the Dark event in aid of the Royal National Institute for the Blind (RNIB) at 7.45pm on Thursday, 16 November.
Led by yoga instructor Helen Jones in the studio at 16 Victoria Road, the event will be part of the RNIB’s November In the Dark fundraising campaign, and aims to help improve understanding of what it’s like to live with limited or no vision.
Yoga in the Dark will be a beginner-level class that anyone can join, and Helen will give clear, audible instructions. As well as mats and blocks, blindfolds or ‘sim specs’ will be provided to simulate sight loss.
Booking is essential as places are limited, and a minimum donation of £5 is required to hold the booking. All proceeds will go to the RNIB.
