Chris Scott
Chris qualified with a Bachelor’s degree with honours from the University of Brighton in 2007. He went on to spend several years in the NHS gaining experience in wound care and managing ‘high’ and ‘at risk’ patients.
He is a keen distance runner. He finds it fortunate that podiatry has allowed him to bring his hobby to work by treating other runners with running related injuries. Chris provides assessments for musculoskeletal injuries and is now able to offer prescription-made custom orthotics specifically designed to the shape of your foot using highly accurate 3D scanning technology.
He also carries out nail surgery for ingrowing toenails here at this clinic. Nail surgery is a minor procedure performed under local anaesthetic, it usually takes less than an hour and has very good outcomes. Appointments can be made within the week of your first assessment avoiding any long wait for an NHS appointment.
As well as routine podiatry, he also provides specific treatments for fungal nails and verruca as well as offering foot care advice and treatments for the diabetic foot.
Chris is HCPC registered and a member of the College of Podiatry.
