TRX for new mums
We’re offering new mums the opportunity to get back in shape fast – without having to leave their babies.
TRX fitness training is a fun and safe way of shaping up that has proved effective with people from 18 to 80 because it is adaptable to suit different fitness levels and abilities.
The TRX trainers at Hands-on Health teach a maximum of just three people at a time, and you can bring your baby in a pram, lay him/her on fitness mats or even work out with the baby in a sling.
The trainers are Renata Saracchi Bruck and Albie McMahon. Albie explains: “Having recently become a grandfather myself, I know how much easier it is for new mums to work out in a place where they can keep their babies close by. We run specific mums and babies sessions, so nobody will need to be embarrassed or stressed about stopping to deal with a crying baby, change a nappy or even give a feed.”
The dedicated sessions are for mums of babies between six weeks and six months and must be booked in advance. Mums who have had c-sections are also welcome once cleared by their doctor.
