Ashtanga yoga poseAshtanga yoga is a very dynamic form of yoga which synchronises breath and movement and builds both strength and flexibility.

At Hands-on Health, Helen Jones teaches classes and one-to-one sessions that provide strength and conditioning for athletes, including runners, cyclists and other active people, while also offering modified classes based on the Primary Series for beginners and other ability levels.

Mats, blocks and other props are available in the classes to help your practice, especially when you first start.

Some classes also include meditation and breathing techniques (pranayama).
