April discovered her passion for yoga at a retreat in Bali. Since then she has travelled to India to complete her 200-hour yoga teacher training certification, learning the art of teaching Ashtanga and Hatha yoga. With enthusiasm for both physical and mental well-being, April enjoys teaching classes which are fun, sometimes challenging but always with a focus on getting the maximum benefits from each and every asana.
As a runner, April knows the importance of maintaining a healthy body and believes that yoga is a key part of building and maintaining strength and flexibility as well as preventing injury. However, she is also aware of the enormous benefits a regular yoga practice can have on emotional well-being, and immensely enjoys teaching classes which focus on stress reduction, relaxation and mood enhancing. As well as group classes, April is also available for one-to-one sessions during which she loves working with the individual to create a bespoke practice tailored to the exact aspects of yoga they wish to improve on or learn more about.
